You don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what you want to change. We’ll work together to understand your relationship with drugs or alcohol, clarify what matters most to you, and help your everyday choices move you toward the life you want.
That might mean being more present in your relationships, caring for your health, or making time for something meaningful. You choose the direction. Together, we’ll turn what matters to you into practical steps you want to take.
Sometimes substance use offers relief from stress, anxiety, loneliness, or physical pain. Sometimes it brings pleasure, connection, or excitement. We can explore those needs with curiosity and compassion while finding ways to meet them that fit the life you want to build.

We’ll make room for mixed feelings—the part of you that wants change and the part that finds comfort in familiar routines. You are the expert on your life. We’ll explore what you want, what gets in the way, and which changes feel meaningful to you.
Together, we’ll practice noticing thoughts, emotions, urges, and physical sensations without automatically letting them decide your next step. You can learn to make room for discomfort while doing something you care about. When things don’t go as planned, we’ll approach that with kindness, learn from the experience, and reconnect with the direction you’ve chosen.
Your starting point might be exploring your use, reducing harm, cutting back, or choosing abstinence. Your goals will guide our work.
My practice is not based on a 12-step model. I respect 12-step support when it is meaningful to you.
