No Show Policy

  • In order to keep my rates low, I have a no show policy of a nonrefundable charge of $50.00. For clients who earn a verified wage between minimum wage $21 a hour, I gladly accept documentation of 1 hour of volunteering service at a nonprofit of your choice for exemption of this no show fee. I do not make any other exceptions.

  • Cancellations are fully refunded when made more than 24 hours in advance. All appointments canceled within 24 hours of the appointment time (for any reason) are considered no-shows.

Letters/Recommendations

  • Due to ethical dilemmas of dual roles and scope of practice I do not provide any clinical recommendations for service animals, short term/long term disability claims, food stamps, DCS/APS, or anything related to the court system/probation/child custody/medical care. I do not make any exceptions.

Free/Sliding Scale

  • 15 FREE SESSIONS (20% of my caseload) If one earns between minimum wage and $21.00 in the past 12 months, I offer 15 free sessions to one person who fits this criteria. The no show policy is still in place for sliding scale clients. All free clients are required to complete 1 hour of volunteering of a local non-profit for every 4 hours of counseling.

  • Make under $30.00 a hour? My rate is $65.00 for each 50 minute session. Proof of paystub required.

**Sliding scale is only for in person appointments**

  • Are you disabled? By calling me, I can help direct you to the appropriate authority for setting up with AHCCCS services at no cost. People who have AHCCCS can usually get free counseling with clinics such as La Frontera (520) 296-3296 or MHC (520) 682-4111. There may be a waitlist for a few months to get counseling. Feel free to present to these locations in person during business hours to ask for an intake if they do not return their voicemail. Have not applied for disability yet? Call Social Security at 1 (800) 772-1213. The average hold time is 33 minutes but can exceed 2 hours during periods of high call volume. The average time to get a decision on a Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) application can range from 6 to 8 months for an initial decision, but the entire process, including potential appeals, can take much longer, potentially spanning several years.
