Anxiety
Anxiety can feel overwhelming. Panic can be intensely physical, sometimes bringing a frightening sense that you might die or lose control. Worrying can get in the way of our values and feel like its in the way.
Lets be curious about how the role avoidance has when worry, nervousness, or panic show up in our lives.
I enjoy helping clients develop a kinder relationship with anxiety. Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we lean into anxiety and work on how willingness and mindful awareness can help us with these distressing feelings.
I offer anxiety support as part of my work with people struggling with drugs, alcohol, or sexual compulsivity.
I treat trauma and PTSD differently, using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
